Planning your next day out in London? Well, look no further than the vibrant district of Peckham. Packed with art galleries, coffee shops and more, there are GOOD companies around every corner!
We have picked just a few of our favourite spots in Peckham, which is also home to our co-founder, Sarah. From shopping to cafes and dining – we have got you covered.
Old Spike Café
Start your day strong by supporting social change in the form of latte art! Old Spike Roastery in Peckham is the first speciality coffee roastery operating as a social enterprise. Old Spike’s mission? To reduce homelessness in the United Kingdom through training and employment in the speciality coffee industry.
They have partnered with their sister company, Change Please, to offer a full barista training academy to help support everyone on their programme and secure all graduates a London living wage job.
Old Spike Roastery’s coffee beans are carefully sourced to guarantee you quality, seasonality, and fair sustainable pricing for the farmers. The attention to detail dedicated to every roasted batch is showcased in the stunning array of flavours and aromas from all around the world. Whilst they ensure that the coffee they buy is sustainably sourced, Old Spike Roastery are aware this isn’t the case for all coffee shops. Therefore, they have also made a commitment to plant a tree for every bag of coffee sold through a partnership with the Eden Reforestation Project.
This is not just any coffee shop.
