Led by Alex Birtles, award-wining Co-Founder of In Good Company and experienced pitch coach, you'll dive into the art of crafting a compelling and winning pitch. This session will cover:

  • Essential formats, structures, and key elements for success
  • Visual strategies for impactful presentations

You’ll also engage in practical exercises with your peers to refine your approach and ensure your pitch resonates.

Build your public speaking skills and learn techniques for delivering your pitch with confidence. Topics include:

Andrew Brisbin is an experienced start-up entrepreneur, advisor and most recently has built Allia Impact Fund to support tech for good founders with funding in building solutions that can solve some of society's biggest challenges. As well as assessing pitches from founders, Andrew has secured major strategic partnerships with local government and private funders.

In conversation with Alex, hear Andrew’s take on what he looks for in a pitch, common pitfalls and how to stand-out and most importantly, how to close!

About Alex Birtles

Alex Birtles is an award-winning, purpose-driven entrepreneur, speaker and writer. She’s the co-founder and CEO of In Good Company, a tech-for-good start-up dedicated to driving growth for sustainable, ethical and socially-conscious small businesses.

Alex has previously been a charity Trustee, sat on the board of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety and helped to set up the not-for-profit Internet Matters. With a background in PR, she has excellent communication skills and is a seasoned public speaker, having pitched successfully for investment, grants and in start-up competitions.

Alex regularly runs workshops and 121 training sessions for other impact founders, with a focus on pitching and presenting. Clients include Innovate UK, Startup Discovery School, Youth Business International and Hatch Enterprise.
