Social Enterprise Mark CIC is a respected organisation that accredits social enterprises globally, helping them become strong and sustainable businesses focused on making a positive impact. With various assessments, including the Social Enterprise Mark, they guide enterprises toward excellence and best practices in social entrepreneurship. The Social Enterprise Mark acts as assurance, independently confirming that an organisation meets industry criteria and is dedicated to genuine social enterprise principles, working towards positive social change.

The new Silver Mark in their accreditation pathway shows a business's commitment to improving social entrepreneurship. It's a step towards reaching the top-tier Social Enterprise Gold Mark. This launch reflects Social Enterprise Mark CIC's dedication to helping social enterprises excel.
The Silver Mark's criteria go beyond the original six of the Social Enterprise Mark, adding five more elements like strong governance, stakeholder engagement, ethical practices, financial transparency, and reporting social impact.
